MALKAJGIRI: Operating under the supervision of Malkajgiri Police Commissioner B. Sumathi, IPS, the Special Operations Team (SOT) LB Nagar Zone alongside LB Nagar Police arrested four more operatives of an organized illegal finance and loan fraud syndicate on Thursday. With this, total arrests rose to seven across cases registered at LB Nagar, Neredmet, and Keesara police stations.
Guided by LB Nagar DCP B. Anuradha, IPS, and SOT DCP K. Manohar, enforcement teams cracked down on the network for trapping economically vulnerable citizens through exorbitant interest rates, deceptive loan sanctions, and coercion. Police seized vehicles, mobile handsets, blank signed cheques, promissory notes, property title deeds, and cash. Authorities urged citizens never to sign blank financial instruments.
