Cyberabad Traffic Police Urge IT Firms to Adopt Staggered Logouts, Work From Home

Cyberabad: In view of the forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall from November 3 to 5, Cyberabad Traffic Police have advised IT companies and organisations operating within the Cyberabad limits to implement staggered early logouts and consider Work From Home (WFH) arrangements to minimise traffic congestion and ensure employee safety.

Sunpreet Singh, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, issued the advisory requesting IT companies to consider staggered logouts starting from 2 pm during the three days. As rainfall is expected during the afternoon and late evening hours, organisations have been advised to complete the logout process preferably by 4 pm.

The advisory aims to reduce traffic congestion, minimise travel-related risks, ensure business continuity and facilitate the uninterrupted movement of emergency services during adverse weather conditions. Companies have also been encouraged to utilise the Work From Home option as an alternative arrangement during the period.

IT companies and organisations have been requested to share their locations and proposed early logout timings through email at cybtrcc@gmail.com to enable the Traffic Police to make necessary traffic management arrangements.

The Cyberabad Traffic Police appealed to all organisations to cooperate with the advisory and take precautionary measures in the interest of public safety.
