President Kasireddy Bhaskara Reddy Demands Immediate Takeover of Land and Deployment of Reserve Police Force
Miyapur: Janam Kosam has welcomed the Supreme Court’s verdict declaring land in Survey Nos. 100 and 101 of Miyapur as government property. The organisation described the judgment as a significant victory in protecting public assets and safeguarding government land from encroachments.
Janam Kosam President Kasireddy Bhaskara Reddy stated that encroachers had approached the Supreme Court in 2003, challenging the High Court’s verdict. After prolonged legal proceedings, the Supreme Court delivered its judgment today, upholding the government’s rights over the disputed land.
Bhaskara Reddy demanded that the State Government immediately deploy the Reserve Police Force and take possession of the entire land to prevent further attempts by land brokers and others to create fresh disputes or encroachments.
He expressed concern that several encroachments had taken place despite the court’s status quo orders. He said the Supreme Court verdict would help protect valuable public property and prevent further illegal occupation.
He urged the State Government to initiate immediate action, first taking possession of all vacant land and subsequently removing those who had allegedly occupied the property through illegal means.
Janam Kosam reiterated its demand that the government take swift and decisive steps to secure the land and prevent any further irregularities.
