MLA participated in Dandari celebrations
Adilabad: Jambuldari in Satnala Mandal of Adilabad District. Adilabad MLA Payal Shankar participated in the Dandari festival organized in the village on Saturday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that Dandari festivals and Gussadi dances, which have been practiced by the tribals since time immemorial, are a great cultural heritage given by our ancestors. Going from one village to another and sharing love and affection, celebrating the festival with unity is the specialty of these festivals. He said that Adivasi dances, traditions and festivals have a special recognition all over the world and research is also being done on these. Everyone has the responsibility to provide the Adivasi culture and traditions to the future generations. It is said that the great message of man to forget his sorrows and live happily considering everyone as his own is hidden in Dandari festival. He said that the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is implementing many schemes for the welfare of the tribals. He advised the youth to stay away from bad habits and continue the traditions handed down by our forefathers with enthusiasm and live happily in unity.
