Alair : An essay-writing competition was conducted on Monday under the aegis of the Mega Subhash Youth Association for students of the Government ATC and ITI College in Aleru town to raise awareness about tackling the effects of El Niño. The competition focused on the topic of how to address the problem of low rainfall. The programme aimed to encourage youth to create awareness among the public about measures to cope with the challenges posed by El Niño. As part of the programme, students took a pledge to conserve and save water, food, and electricity. Mandal Youth Associations Committee President Tallapalli Mahesh, college staff, and students participated in the programme.
