Compensation Secured for Land Oustees of the Yedula Reservoir, Thanks to the Efforts of MLA Megha Reddy
Cheques Worth Rs. 1.21 Crore Distributed to 22 Farmers
Gopalpet / Yedula: Following years of waiting, the farmers affected by the Yedula Reservoir project finally received their compensation on Friday, thanks to the special initiative taken by Wanaparthy MLA Tudi Megha Reddy. MLA Megha Reddy distributed the compensation cheques sanctioned by the government. A total of Rs. 1.21 crore was provided to 22 farmers from the village for 9.28 acres of land. Present on the occasion were Yedula Mandal President Sukhender Reddy, Market Yard Vice-Chairman Satyasheela Reddy, district-level leaders Vadala Parvathalu and Jayapal Reddy, NSUI Gopalpet President Janaki Ramulu, SC Cell President Krishnayya, Gollapalli Sarpanch Santhosh, Bhaskar Rao, and various other Congress party leaders and workers
