Adilabad: MLA Payala Shankar alleged that after 10 years of power in the state and doing injustice to Adilabad district in all kinds of ways, it is deplorable to make allegations of corruption and irregularities now. Speaking at a press conference held at the camp office on Saturday, he said that it was a shame that Jogu Ramanna accused him of not even establishing a tribal university or industrial parks in the district. He demanded that the state government should conduct a vigilance investigation on this corruption scandal that the funds related to Adilabad were not transferred to Gajwelpu Siddipet during the then government’s regime and injustice was done to the district, even the Adilabad to Armor railway line was not sanctioned even after serving as the state minister. He said whether the previous government had prevented Adilabad from developing in all ways. He also denied the accusations made by TRS chief Kavitha in yesterday’s Indravelli Sabha. He said that it is not reasonable to make baseless allegations that Kavitha KTR forgot the district during their party administration and now one after another they are cheating people in the name of Rythu Garjana. He said that it is unfortunate that the TRS parties are accusing me of not being able to see that I am supporting the development of Adilabad as a child of BC. He told the leaders of TRS BRS to refrain from making baseless allegations if many development works of Industrial Park and Railway Under Bridge Railway Flyover are being done during his tenure. BJP leaders Jogu Ravi, Raghu, Mohan Aggarwal and others participated in this press conference.
